How do I get a boat licence?
1. Successfully complete the course.
2. Complete 3x trips in your logbook
3. Take paperwork into Service NSW
Does boat licence include PWC (jetski)?
The NSW boat licence is a pre-requisite to the PWC licence. In order to operate a PWC (i.e. a jetski), you’ll need a NSW boat licence WITH the PWC upgrade.
How do I complete the logbook?
You will need to complete at least 3 trips on the water under the supervision of a licenced person who has held their licence for 3 years or more. This can be done before or after the course.
How old do I have to be to get a licence?
Students must be 12 & up to obtain a NSW general boat licence and/or PWC licence. Students aged 16 & up will qualify for the full ‘adult’ licence.
How long is the certificate valid for?
Your licence certificate (given immediately upon successful completion of the course) is valid for 12 months from the issue date.
Can I get a replacement certificate?
We are able to recreate your paperwork only within 12 months from when you’ve passed. Please call our office for assistance with this. NOTE: an administrative fee will apply.
Am I guarenteed to pass?
Whilst our course tuition and study materials give you the best chance of passing, it’s ultimately up to you to pass the exam. Simply doing a course doesn’t mean an instant pass.
Can i rescheulde my course date?
Yes, however an administrative fee will apply. To reschedule, please reach out to our office team (email or phone) and they’ll assist. Have your order number ready when you do this.
Can I cancel my course for a refund?
Per company policy, all sales are final so as such students won’t be able to get a refund if they can’t do the course. If you’re unable to make your course, please give us a call for assistance
What do I get upon booking?
When you book in, we’ll send you the course information, some helpful study materials and a confirmation of your booking. This is emailed so check your spam folder just in case.
